Jamie Balch Collins - Unit Director, Carpinteria Clubhouse

Jamie is a Carpinteria native with a passion for helping the youth of tomorrow.  Jamie attended the Carpinteria Boys & Girls club from a young age where she was an Indian Cheerleader.  After a semester abroad in 2006, and traveling to ten countries through Semester at Sea, Jamie transferred to the University of the Pacific where she completed her Bachelors in Sociology.  After graduation, she worked for a number of non-profits and has served as a volunteer in New Orleans, Peru and Africa.  Jamie moved back to Carpinteria in 2011 to be program director at the Montecito YMCA and then began volunteering at her hometown Boys & Girls Club.  In August of 2012 she was named the Unit Director and has since been implementing her vision to help our youth thrive.
