The Teen Film Camp is offered by a partnership with the United Boys & Girls Club of Santa Barbara County and the Santa Barbara International Film Festival.
This FREE camp is made possible through grants, donors and contributions from individuals and organizations.
The goal is to introduce the teens to the world of film making through instruction and hands on experience creating their own short movie! The movie will be shown on the last night of camp and you are invited to come view all their hard work and creativity put into making their own movie.
Applications received first will be given priority. We encourage teens with an interest in film or art to apply! We will confirm campers accepted to the camp on a weekly basis as we are receiving applications. There are only 30 slots available. Applications are due by May 30th.
Teens all across Santa Barbara County come to our summer camp program where they have the opportunity to:
- Participate in a free, 6-day overnight film camp for youth ages 12-16
- Take classes from film experts and learn the craft of filmmaking.
- Develop, direct, and edit your story to make your own movie.
- Participate in team-building activities and movie nights with other campers.
- Present your film to family and friends at the mini-film festival!
