Community Service Project
The Goleta Club was selected by the Leadership Santa Barbara Class (LSB CLass) to complete an in-depth project. Together the Goleta Club and the LSB Class will work hard to renovate the surrounding area near the playground at the Goleta Club by leveling the ground to installing 8-10 picnic tables for our families to enjoy during dinner hours. Currently, we serve free healthy meals everyday to all our members and the picnic tables will provide additional space to our members, families and community. The picnic tables will also be used to do homework, art and other S.T.E.M. activities. In addition, LSB Class will also provide two sets of corn holes games at our Camp Whittier in the Santa Ynez Valley.
You can help make this Class Project a reality and help provide comfortable, safe and fun space for the families we serve in Goleta and the Santa Ynez Valley. Every donation counts!

About Leadership Santa Barbara
Leadership Santa Barbara County is an issue-oriented leadership development program limited each year to 30 diverse individuals. Participants learn, practice communication, and gain skills in team building, facilitation, conflict resolution, public speaking, consensus building, and information gathering. Throughout the year, the class works hand in hand with a non-profit of its choice to complete an in-depth project. They work together to develop, plan, and execute the effort before May’s graduation event. The May Topic Awareness Day unveils the project to the public and highlights the benefits of community service and civic responsibility.
