Development Intern

Position Overview:

The Development Intern plays a key role in supporting UBGC’s fundraising and marketing initiatives through data entry, donor stewardship, communications support, and general departmental assistance. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in nonprofit development, marketing, or communications to gain hands-on, practical experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data entry & Donor Database Management

  • Marketing & Communications Support

  • Donor Stewardship & Event Support

  • Administrative & Departmental Support

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a college program (Marketing, Communications, Nonprofit Management, Business, or similar preferred)

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace

  • Experience with CRM systems (DonorPerfect, Salesforce, etc.) preferred

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Passion for youth development and community service

Learning opportunities:

  • Gain hands-on experience in nonprofit fundraising and donor relations

  • Learn CRM and data management skills used throughout the development field

  • Build relationships with UBGC leadership, board members, and community partners

  • Receive mentorship in nonprofit development and marketing best practices

Location: In-person at UBGC Administrative Office
Status: Part-time, Non-Exempt
Hours: 10–15 hours per week
Pay: $17.87–$18.00 per hour
Start Date: Open Until Filled
